Set Up:
Twelve players are set up on a field split into three zones, playing 6v6. During the game, the teams play 2v2 in each of the three zones of the field. There are small goals placed on the sidelines of the two end zones. All players must stay inside of their own zones during play, but they can pass to any of their teammates. Balls played out of bounds are re-started by the Feeder. The teams play games to two goals with a five-minute time limit. After each game, the players switch pairs and/or zones.
Coaching Points:
1. The team in possession should expand the field immediately after winning the ball.
2. In the central zone—fake an attack in one direction, then attack the other goal.
3. Maintain possession until a good opportunity to go to goal materializes. Don’t force it.
Progressions:
1. Add a neutral player to the central zone.
