Set Up:
Twelve players are set up on a small field, playing 4v4 plus two. During play, one team attacks the two large goals, and the opposing team attacks the three small goals at the opposite end. The neutral attackers must stay on the sidelines and they are limited to one touch. After scoring, the attacking team keeps the ball and attacks in the other direction. Balls played out of touch are re-started by the Feeder, and the neutrals rotate out after ten minutes.
Coaching Points:
1. Anticipate turnovers and create a ‘numbers up’ situation with a quick transition.
2. Play in a one and two touch rhythm and get the ball off of your foot.
3. Bring the defenders out of the center by playing the ball out wide to a neutral.
Progressions:
1. Allow the neutrals to play inside the field.
