Explanation:
The two teams play 4v4 on a small field. Off to the side of the field, the Coach sets up a 4 x 4 group of different colored cones to represent a Rubik's Cube. When a player scores a goal or when a coach wants to reward a player for effort, the player comes off to the side of the field to try and solve the Rubiks Cube set up for his/her team by switching two of the cones. The first team to solve their cube wins.
Coaching Points:
1. Look for quick transitions goals off of turnovers.
2. Get all four players involved in your attack.
3. Create space by checking away from the ball.
Progressions:
1. If a player makes an outstanding play, they get to move cones twice.
