Set Up:
There are 6-10 players set up inside of the penalty area. During the drill, the players move around the penalty area, looking to receive passes from the Feeder. After they receive, they combine with any of the other players for a shot on goal. The goalkeeper saves and re-adjusts his position with each shot. After three shots are taken, a new goalkeeper is switched in. The speed of the drill can be increased to force the goalkeeper to get up quickly for the next ball.
Coaching Points:
1. Come to a set position before the ball is struck, regardless of where you are.
2. Concentrate on the ball and nothing else. Ignore body feints, noise, and other players.
3. Choose to catch or parry as early as possible. Parry hard shots from in close.
Progressions:
1. Move the shooters in closer, use half of the goal.
