10 year MLS Vet Bobby Burling walks us through a few tips to execute a Chip Pass. The chip is great for getting the ball out of trouble or for passing a ball over a defender to one of your teammates. Also, chipping the ball can allow your teammate more time to run to the ball instead of a long drive pass.

Coaching Points:

  1. Plant Foot Faces Target
  2. Use Top Front of Foot
  3. Strike Bottom of Ball
  4. Lean Back
