Set Up:
Variation #1: Player 1 double passes with Player 2, and then passes thru to Player 3. Player 3 takes one dribble touch and then finishes.
Variation #2: Player 1 passes up to Player 2 and then overlaps around the opposite side. Player 3 runs into the center to receive a back pass from Player 2 and touches the ball thru to Player 1. Player 1 finishes on goal. During the drill, the players rotate from 1 to 2 to 3.
Coaching Points:
1 Speed of Play – Extra touches will slow down the sequence and throw the timing off.
2. The Finishing Run – Watch the play develop so that you can adjust to the pass.
3 Finishing – Get the GK moving with body feints and dribbling moves.
